Game 3 Goes Tonight March 10, 2009

Should be very interesting to see if the Oil Barons can show up for the full 60 minutes tonight.

The MOB accomplished their goal by earning a split over the weekend…even though they may have not deserved it…..the comeback on Saturday night was incredible.

The boys attempted a comeback on Sunday night as well but were unable to tie it at 2 despite a number of good chances. Spruce Grove found the back of the net on a power-play in the 3rd and went on to the 5-2 victory.

Vince Marozzi, who started Game 2 for Spruce, looked ok but wasn’t really tested outside of a 10 minute portion of the 3rd. According to Hamilton’s strategy all year long with his goalies Marozzi will start game 3.

Legatto has continued his sick play making 87 saves in the first two games and most likely will have to keep it up if the Barons want a chance to do the unthinkable and upset the Saints.

Make your way out to Thickwood Height’s Arena tonight at 8:30 for what should be another great installment of David vs Golaith.
