Top Calls – First half of 2008

The Oil Barons picked up just 2 of a possible 6 points during a swing through the south division this past weekend.

The penalty kill was great, clipping along above 90 percent. The power-play on the other hand not so much.

The Barons had four separate 5 on 3’s throughout the weekend……and didn’t score…in some cases they didn’t even get a decent scoring opportunity.

Branden Gracel, Dakota Dubetz and Adam Johnson seemed to form a pretty good line for the MOB with Gracel being the teams best player in Sunday’s 3-2 loss.

Good news for the Barons is that they get a day off on Monday and then 4 days of practice before hosting the Bobcats for a pair this weekend.
